So today, I will be interviewing my favorite cousin ever!! Sam is one of my closest cousins, and we are basically best friends, but I would really like to get to know her better with her music choices. So no further ado let's start the interview.
Jordan - Hey Sam!!! ( over the phone on FaceTime)
Sam - Hey!!
Jordan - I know we are really close, but I would like to know more about your connection with music and your taste in it. What are you listening to nowadays?
Sam - Um, currently, I am listening to Benito ( Bad Bunny), Rauw Alejandro, and Billie Eilish.
Jordan - Wow, that's really different between artists. What is your favorite Bad Bunny song right now?
Sam - I really like Eoo from his new album, it really gets me in the mood and gets me ready for the day.
Jordan - What is a genre of music that you hate?
Sam - I hate? I don't hate but I dislike country music.
Jordan - what makes you dislike country music.
Sam - I would say I don't like the country accent, and I really don't resonates the message of the music.
Jordan - What is a song that brings you good memories?
Sam - Pepas is one of the go-to because it reminds me of my 18th Birthday Bash!!
Jordan - Is there a song that you like that has a close connection to you and your culture?
Sam - I would say Bad Bunny's song Lo Que le Paso A Hawaii because my family is from Cuba and it resonates with me and what Cuba is still going through.
Jordan - I really enjoyed his album this year it's such a huge hit, and it's important to Puerto Rico.
Sam- I really enjoy it too!
Jordan - Have you ever played an instrument?
Sam - Yes I have actually I played the Flute
Jordan - How long did you Play the Flute
Sam - About 7 year
Jordan - What made you stop playing?
Sam - So it was because I didn't want to be in the marching band, I was told that if I wanted to continue in High school I had to be in the marching band.
Jordan - Did you have a favorite song to play on the flute?
Sam - When I was younger I really enjoyed Beauty and the Beast and I loved playing the main melody I forgot what it was called
Jordan - Is it the part they are dancing in the fancy close
Sam - Yeah hahah

Hello, I'm Jordan Celaya, a sophomore at Converse University majoring in Music Therapy. My primary instrument is the violin, which I have been playing for about 9 years. Most of my education in my instruments came from general music classes and being a part of ensembles like orchestras.
